Been in New York for the Electric Zoo festival on Randall’s Island in the middle of the East River next to Manhattan.
Classy line up of all the current major players in Electronic dance music right now, like David Guetta, Armin Van Burren, Deadmau5 and Richie Hawtin, mixed with local legends such as Danny Tenaglia, Frankie Knuckles and Francois K.

Was a really beautiful day and ripe for some classic weather related tunes to open the Main Stage on Sunday.

Also played a club set in the evening which judging by the blog feedback went down really well! I didn’t know if New York was ready for Dubstep..but I took the gamble and dropped some Bessnectar Basslines which blew the tent apart. I think DJing should be about taking risks, pushing the audience and defying expectations.
